Grant Entsminger’s connection to Dana Point is deep-rooted. A native of this
picturesque coastal town, he developed a strong sense of community and belonging.
He graduated from Dana Hills High School where he won an individual CIF title in the
sport of wrestling. Today, he continues to call Dana Point home, living there with his two
children. This close-knit family enjoys the serene environment and vibrant culture that
Dana Point offers.
Grant Entsminger joins our team with a wealth of experience after retiring from a
distinguished 23-year career in the United States Navy. As a Surface Warfare Officer,
Grant served onboard four warships, each with unique missions and challenges, where
he developed expertise in naval operations, strategic planning, and leadership. His
service onboard these ships demonstrated his adaptability and his ability to navigate
complex and high-pressure situations, ensuring the safety and success of his crew.
Throughout his career, Grant held various leadership roles in both the enlisted and
officer communities, earning the respect of both peers and superiors. Additionally, his
time on multiple high-level staffs further honed his skills in managing complex scenarios
and provided him with a broader, global perspective. Grant’s commitment to national
security, operational excellence, and the safety of his crew exemplifies the qualities he
now brings to our team.
Grant’s transition into his new role at First Team marks a significant chapter in both his
career and the organization’s growth. With a background in strategic planning,
leadership, and operations management, Grant brings a wealth of experience that will
enhance the team’s capabilities. His distinguished Naval career, combined with his
strong ties to Dana Point, further solidifies his value as an asset to the company.
